Chelsea say no! AC Milan see bid to reunite Carney Chukwuemeka with Christian Pulisic & Ruben Loftus-Cheek at San Siro rejected

The Serie A side made an offer to take the 20-year-old on loan for the duration of the 2024-25 campaign, but Corriere dello Sport reports the Blues have turned down their approach as they are not interested in a temporary deal.

Milan hope to lure the attacking midfielder to San Siro where his former Chelsea team-mates Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have thrived since joining last year. Chukwuemeka joined the Stamford Bridge team from Aston Villa in 2022 but has managed only 27 senior appearances since then, having been limited to just 12 games in all competitions last season due to injury.

Chukwuemeka is not the only Chelsea player Milan are interested in this summer. They have been linked with a move for striker Romelu Lukaku after his season on loan at Roma and the Stamford Bridge club are determined to sell him. Meanwhile, Milan are also eyeing ex-Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham.

The Rossoneri are willing to wait and see if Chelsea's stance on Chukwuemeka changes as the summer transfer window nears its end. They are also looking to sign midfielder Youssouf Fofana from Monaco, Corriere dello Sport claims.
