In an emotional Instagram post, Ceballos praised not only Madrid's departing head coach, but also sang high praise for his son, who served as an assistant at Madrid. Earlier this week, Davide posted a farewell to the club, thanking the team and fans as he leaves to pursue a new challenge.

With Ancelotti stepping down to prepare for his next role with the Brazil national team, his son has emerged as a frontrunner for the vacant Rangers job. The 35-year-old is reportedly ahead of former Gers manager Steven Gerrard in the race to replace Philippe Clement, who was fired amid a disappointing season.
