    Atlanta United unveiled their new Designated Player, Alexey Miranchuk, who quickly won over fans by expressing his love for the city’s hip-hop stars—Future, Lil Baby, Gunna, Young Thug, and Offset.

    Miranchuk, who joined Atlanta in a blockbuster transfer from Atalanta in a $13.5 million (€12 million_ move, is expected to be the face of the franchise after several high-profile departures. The 28-year-old has scored 60 goals across 357 appearances with various clubs, including Lokomotiv Moscow and Atalanta.

    Miranchuk could make his first appearance Saturday when Atlanta travels to Los Angeles to face the LA Galaxy. He might not be the only big name on hand to make a debut as Galaxy new signing Marco Reus could also make his first MLS appearance on Saturday.
