GettyTHE BIGGER PICTURE
Mbappe's future has been the subject of much speculation over the last few months. The 25-year-old reportedly told PSG he would not sign a contract extension before the 2023-24 season got underway, and doubled down on that claim last week, pointing out that he "has an agreement" with PSG to determine his future.
GettyWHAT NEXT FOR MBAPPE?
PSG's star man will face a choice as to his future home in the coming months, and more reports are likely to arise about his preferred destination, with Liverpool also said to be in the running. Until then, he will likely continue to play a key role for his club, who are top of Ligue 1 and safely through to the last 16 of the Champions League.
