Hull team news

Hull City will once again be without John Lundstram, Bachir Belloumi, and Eliot Matazo, all sidelined with injuries, while Brandon Williams remains short of match fitness. Head coach Sergej Jakirovic could stick with the same lineup that delivered three points at St. Andrew's, with Joe Gelhardt, who was on target last time out, set to continue supporting frontman Oli McBurnie, the summer signing who has already notched six league goals.

David Akintola and Kyle Joseph are expected to retain their places in the attacking setup despite pressure from Matt Crooks and Liam Millar, while Regan Slater and Amir Hadziahmetovic are likely to anchor the midfield once more in Lundstram's absence.

Leicester team news

Leicester remain without Harry Souttar and Stephy Mavididi, both recovering from injuries. Midfielder Jordan James has been a standout performer since joining on loan from Rennes and is expected to partner Harry Winks in the engine room of their 4-2-3-1 formation, though Oliver Skipp provides strong competition.

On the flanks, Abdul Fatawu will look to continue his fine run of form, the winger has already bagged three goals this season, while Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Jordan Ayew, and Patson Daka are all pushing for starts after Aaron Ramsey, Julian Carranza, and teenage prospect Jeremy Monga featured in the draw with Portsmouth.
