Kano Pillars goalkeeper Danladi Isa conceded that his side were lucky to secure narrow 1-0 win over Wikki Tourists in a rescheduled match in Kano on Wednesday.
Following a home win over Enyimba, Kadiri Ikhana’s men maintained their good form against the Bauchi Elephants thanks to Ibrahim Alhassan’s lone strike at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
And the former Plateau United man insists securing the maximum points was all that mattered for his side to improve their title aspirations.
"It was not easy taking on Wikki Tourist after our victory against Enyimba," Isa told Goal.
"But the team took the game seriously because we need to maintain our good form. We were rewarded for our work hard and that was what happened against Wikki.''

''In football - the result only matters and not how beautiful you play. We did well, though Wikki also played very well too but victory came to us.''
