Ted Lasso burglary spree: £2m worth of valuables stolen in raids on homes that featured on hit show, including property owned by chart-topping musician
A string of burglaries in London are being linked to sets from Ted Lasso, with a number of homes that featured on the show being raided by gangs
The Apple TV+ production, which is reportedly seeing a fourth series lined up, is set in the affluent Richmond Green area of the English capital. Four properties in that region of south-west London have been ransacked, leading to over £2 million ($2.5m) worth of valuables being taken.
A local resident has told The Sun: "You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out that someone from the gang probably watched the programme at some point. They must have realised the rich pickings to be had from the area."
