The tactician walked out in the wake of the 1-1 draw against AS Roma and skipped Friday's training session, but he was pictured back taking charge of the squad on Saturday morning.
Fenerbahce plunged into utter turmoil following their Champions League clash against Roma as head coach Ismail Kartal unexpectedly announced his immediate resignation. However, club president Aziz Yildirim swiftly intervened minutes later, firmly rejecting the tactician's departure and insisting the 65-year-old would remain in his post.
