Nakumatt sends warning to Gor Mahia: We respect you but don’t fear anything!

Nakumatt FC will play hosts Gor Mahia in a Kenyan Premier League match on Sunday.

K’Ogalo has tasted no defeat in the top tier this season; they have played twenty-one matches, winning seventeen and drawing four. It is a huge task for the shoppers but assistant coach Anthony Mwangi believes his charges can pull a surprise.

“We respect Gor Mahia very much, but that does not mean we are scared of them, no! They will be coming into the match as favourites, meaning pressure to win will be on their side and that might work in our advantage. It is about avoiding mistakes and taking our chances.

“This is football, anything can happen, we just want to do our job on the pitch and hope for the best,” Mwangi told Goal.

The team is currently placed twelfth on the log with twenty-eight points.
