AFC Leopards defender Mike Kibwage joins newly promoted side KCB

AFC Leopards are set to lose one of their most valuable assets to newly promoted side KCB in the ongoing Kenyan Premier League transfer season.

Goal understands that defender Mike Kibwage is set to pen a two-year deal with the Bankers after he was released by Ingwe.

This comes just hours after AFC Leopards brought on board former Zoo FC defender Isaac Kipyegon, who signed a three-year deal with the former giants on Tuesday.

Ingwe have also extended Salim Abdala’s stay at the Den for a further three years. KCB, who have since appointed former Wazito coach Frank Ouna as their new tactician, on the other hand, have been beefing their squad having snatched Tanzanian keeper Peter Manyika Junior from Simba SC and Singinda United midfielder Jamala Mwambeleko.

KCB returned to the top flight league after two years stay in the lower division National Super League - having finished second behind Western Stima.
