The countdown for the FIFA World Cup 2022 is well and truly on with less than six months left for the flagship tournament to kick off in Qatar.

For the second time in history, the World Cup will be held in Asia after 2002 when Japan and South Korea jointly hosted the competition.

Since the inception of the FIFA World Cup in 1930, it has been a tradition for FIFA to design an official poster for each edition of the tournament.

As the poster for the 2022 edition was released on Wednesday, we look at every FIFA World Cup poster from 1930 to 2022.
