The No. 17 Tennessee Volunteers (5-3) will look to build on a three-game home winning streak when they host the No. 20 Illinois Fighting Illini (7-1) on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena in one of the most highly anticipated college basketball games of this week.
Tennessee appears to be exiting a slump just in time for their contest against Illinois. They lost three straight games before winning 89-66 in their most recent game against George Mason on Tuesday.
Illinois, meanwhile, are coming off the back of beating Florida Atlantic 98-89 on Tuesday, as Marcus Domask scored a team-high 33 points. The visitors' only loss of the year came against Marquette, who was ranked fourth at the time.
