Ipswich Townare chasing a bit of history this weekend — their first East Anglian derby victory in more than 16 years — when they welcome bitter rivals Norwich Cityto Portman Road for a Sunday lunchtime showdown in the Championship.
Both sides, though, will feel their campaigns have been stuck in second gear so far. After tumbling out of the Premier League, Ipswich have found themselves marooned in midtable, still searching for rhythm and consistency.
Norwich, on the other hand, aren't faring much better, hovering dangerously close to the relegation scrap despite boasting a squad with top-flight experience. Yet, with derby bragging rights on the line, expect fireworks and no shortage of drama when these two old foes collide.

Team news & squads
Ipswich team news
Boss Kieran McKenna has been handed a clean bill of health heading into the weekend, with no fresh knocks to report. The only absentees remain Wes Burns and Conor Townsend, both sidelined with ACL injuries.
Townsend's campaign is all but over, but Burns is expected to make his long-awaited return in roughly a month, a welcome boost for the Tractor Boys.
Norwich team news
For Norwich, there was a rare silver lining in Wednesday's defeat, no new injury setbacks for a change. Captain Kenny McLean was withdrawn after feeling some discomfort, but manager Michael Manning assured supporters it's a recurring issue rather than a fresh concern, and the Scotsman could still feature on Sunday.
There was also a bright spot in the form of Lucien Mahovo, who made his long-awaited return after a lengthy layoff. However, after seven months out, the young full-back is likely to be eased back in, with the derby perhaps coming a touch too soon for a starting berth.
The Canaries remain without a handful of long-term absentees, including Amankwah Forson, Mathias Kvistgaarden, Ben Chrisene, Papa Aamadou Diallo, and Anis Ben Slimane, a list that has tested Norwich's depth from day one.
