Reece James and Eden Hazard get a trim! Chelsea heroes visit barbershop as injured full-back discusses playing under Enzo Maresca and ex-Real Madrid star opens up on retirement

A new video posted on Youtube by the barber shop — the hairdressers of choice for various Premier League stars — showed James and Hazard catching up with each other in the Epsom-based shop. They chatted about training together at Chelsea back in the day and whether Hazard was tempted to re-ignite his playing career.

Hazard retired from football last year aged 32, while James' career is still in its early days but has been hampered massively by injury in recent seasons. The pair trained together at Chelsea and have both enjoyed great success at the west London club but were never in the first team at the same time.

Asked by Hazard about the new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, James said: "Yeah bro, he's good", and agreed with the former Belgium star that the situation was "Better than last season, for sure." Departing the barber shop, James added: "Tell Kylian I said 'Hi' as well."

James recently suffered another heartbreaking injury setback with a hamstring issue leaving him on the sidelines for the remainder of 2024. Blues fans will be desperate that James can make his way back to full fitness in the New Year and contribute to Chelsea's campaign, but the fact that he's now missed 56 games since becoming club captain in 2023 is a real concern.
