The last time FC Goa and East Bengal came face to face, the match turned out to be a cracker of a contest. Bright Enobakhare scored an excellent goal, going past four Gaurs players with a solo run to give his side the lead.
But rookie striker Devendra Murgaonkar spoiled the Kolkata side's party within just two minutes as he equalised and helped Goa snatch a point away from East Bengal.
The game was also marred with controversial decisions from the referee. The Red and Golds were down to 10 men after club captain Danny Fox was sent off in the 57th minute. After the match, the decision of Fox's red card was overturned.
