Former Manchester City players Ilkay Gundogan and Leroy Sane are likely to remain absent due to injury concerns.

Additionally, striker Victor Osimhen, who only recently made a comeback from injury, will be looking to make his first start for the club since August 30.

Liverpool team news

Giovanni Leoni and Stefan Bajcetic have not made the trip due to injuries.

In the XI, Liverpool boss Arne Slot is likely to replace Ibrahima Konate and Alexis Mac Allister with Joe Gomez and Curtis Jones, respectively.
