The Louisville Cardinals (4-0) welcome the Virginia Cavaliers (4-1) to L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium on Saturday, October 4, 2025, for a marquee ACC showdown.
In his fourth year steering the Cavaliers, Tony Elliott finally seems to have Virginia pointed in the right direction. The Hoos are riding high after last week’s thriller, stunning No. 8 Florida State in a double-overtime classic, 46-38, and proving they can hang with the conference elite.
Louisville, meanwhile, has been nothing short of impressive under Jeff Brohm. Now in his third season at the helm, Brohm has already built a 23-8 record (13-4 ACC) and has the Cardinals sitting undefeated through four games this fall. With momentum on both sidelines, this matchup has the makings of a statement game for whichever program wants to flex its ACC muscle.
