After the game, manager Arne Slot sounded worried about Alexander-Arnold's condition and cast doubts over his participation for England in their upcoming UEFA Nations League matches.

The Daily Mail, though, claims that the 26-year-old is likely to miss the club's clashes against Southampton and Real Madrid on November 24 and 27, but is expected to take the field against reigning champions Manchester City in the crucial Premier League fixture on December 1.

Both journalists, however, have maintained that there is no way the Reds star will be able to join up with the national team squad, who are scheduled to play two Nations League games later this month.
