ISL: Mumbai City FC snap up Arnold Issoko & Moudou Sougou

Mumbai City FC have secured the signatures of Moudou Sougou and Arnold Issoko ahead of the upcoming Indian Super League (ISL) season.

Sougou and Issoko complete Mumbai City's tally of seven foreigners, with less than a month to go for the start of the league.

Moudou Sougou is a right winger who has spent the most of his career in Portugal and was last playing for Portuguese outfit Moreirense, on loan from Sheffield Wednesday. The 33-year-old has also played for Ligue 1 outfits Marseille and Evian (on loan) but failed to make an impact there before leaving for Sheffield Wednesday.

He has been capped 12 times by Senegal and will add some pace to Mumbai City's attacks in the upcoming season.

Arnold Issoko, meanwhile, joins the Islanders from Portuguese outfit Vitoria de Setubal for which Sougou has also turned out for. The 26-year-old has been capped by DR Congo once and can play as a right-back or as a winger.

Both Issoko and Sougou have good knowledge of Portuguese and with a Portuguese coach in Jorge Costa at Mumbai City Fc's helm, communication should not be a problem for the duo.
