ISL 2017-18: Albert Roca wants Bengaluru FC to learn from their past mistakes as they get ready to host ATK

A chance to go to the top of the Indian Super League (ISL) table will be at stake for Bengaluru FC when they host defending champions ATK at the Sree Kranteerava stadium on Sunday.

Abert Roca’s men have been in fine form with four wins from their last five encounters and will go into the game brimming with confidence.

With such consistency, the Spanish coach has hinted that he will continue with the same personnel when ATK come knocking.

"Our performances are good and it is difficult to change the team when that happens. That said, everybody has to be alert and together. But I don't like to make too many changes and we are ready for everything," the Bengaluru tactician said at the pre-match press-conference on Saturday.

Despite being in such fine knick going into the game, Roca stated that the new entrants in the league need to improve on their defending in the dying minutes of the matches.

"We lost games in the last few minutes previously and those were good lessons for us. After every game we need to see where we make mistakes and what really happened - not just players, but also myself. We have to look forward and not make the same mistakes," he explained.

The Jindal Steel Works (JSW) owned outfit could go two points clear of table-toppers FC Pune City with a win on Sunday and they will be consider themselves favourites against Teddy Sheringham’s men who are currently winless in their last four matches.
