Rodolfo Zapata: I knew AFC Leopards will score against Sony Sugar

AFC Leopards labored to a 1-0 win against Sony Sugar in a league match played on Sunday.

After a barren first half, an Abdalla Salim header settled the contest after the break to hand the twelve-time league champions much needed relief after failing to win in their past two outings.

Head coach Rodolfo Zapata is impressed with the way his side played. "The game was exciting, that is why I am smiling, we really played well and our pressing was good. Yes my midfield was lost at some point but we recovered and created chances, good opportunities that we at times did not take.

"I knew goals will come because we were really creating chances, I was not worried at all," Zapata told Goal.

Ingwe is placed fourth with thirty five points after twenty one matches.
