Francis Uzoho talks up Elche ambitions

Francis Uzoho has spoken of his desire to 'work and learn' at new club Elche.

The Super Eagles shot-stopper completed a season-long loan move from Deportivo La Coruna and will play in the Segunda division in the 2018-19 campaign.

Uzoho, after finalising his deal, was unveiled on Wednesday and the 19-year-old who represented Nigeria at the 2018 World Cup spoke of his ambition with Pacheta’s side.

“I am very happy to be here. My dream is to be better every time, I come to work and learn,” Uzoho told club website.

“I am going to try to give the best of me, I have high expectations with the team.”

Uzoho who has started training with his new side is likely to be in contention for Saturday’s league game against Reus Deportiu.
