Edward Manoah tips Vihiga United to cage AFC Leopards

Vihiga United coach Edward Manoah has vowed to down AFC Leopards at Thika Stadium on Saturday.

The experienced tactician says his boys are in good shape, ready to cage Ingwe from 3pm despite communication mix-up on match day venue.

“We will adjust and play well. We had gone to Machakos for the match but we realized the game had been rescheduled to Thika Stadium in a late communication.

“For sure it may affect us but I know the team is in good shape to get the three points in order to get ourselves out of our current position. Am impressed how my players are settling well in the league though most of them are debutants.”

The team which is supported by Vihiga County has an uphill task in their quest to claw Ingwe, who are winless in the last five league outings.

Leopards who are eying elusive league title since 1998, beat Vihiga United by a solitary goal in September 2017 in a Shield Cup semi-finals clash.
