Boateng wants to end goal drought against Real Madrid

Ghana striker Emmanuel Boateng is hoping to score his first goal of the season when Levante travel to Santiago Bernabeu to face Real Madrid in la Liga on Saturday.

The 22-year-old was a big figure in the Frog's squad last season, scoring seven goals including a hat-trick against Barcelona to end the champions' unbeaten run, but has gone six games this term without a goal.

"It's my duty to score and I will be glad to score my first league goal this weekend against Real Madrid," Boateng told Kickgh.com.

"My first goal of the season will come very soon and I can't wait to celebrate it in a grand style with my teammates.

"We are hoping to improve our performance and finish well on La Liga table after the season," he added.

Boateng's countryman Rafael Dwamena was named in the squad for the trip and may play a part of the game.
