Treat for wife Kate! Harry Kane reveals where he will be watching Tottenham in Europa League final after breaking his trophy curse with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich

The England captain severed career-long ties with Spurs in the summer of 2023 after becoming the club’s all-time leading goal-scorer. He bid farewell to north London after seeing major silverware prove impossible to come by.

Kane has broken his trophy curse in 2025, becoming a Bundesliga title winner at Bayern Munich, and is now hoping to see his former club snap a barren run that stretches back to 2008.

Spurs are set to face Premier League rivals Manchester United in the continental showpiece on May 21. Kane has already confirmed that he will not be in attendance at San Mames in Bilbao, but he will be tuning in from afar - potentially with the sun on his back and a drink in hand.

Kane told Sky Sports when asked if he will be keeping a close eye on how Tottenham fare in their own trophy bid: “Absolutely. It’s been a tough season obviously for Tottenham in the league. But they have a chance to make it one of the best seasons in recent history.

“Obviously wishing them all the best - I still have a lot of friends there, in the players and the staff. I know how much it will mean to them, how much it will mean to the fans. It’s going to be tough, every final is. United have experience in the bigger games, maybe, but Tottenham have shown they can compete at any level and they deserve to be in the final.

“I’ll be watching it away. I’ll be away with my wife somewhere relaxing and I’ll be keeping an eye on it for sure.”

Kate may have been hoping to escape football when heading away for a post-season family break, but she knows what Spurs mean to her husband. Kane is set for a quick turnaround as he has England and FIFA Club World Cup duty fast approaching.
