World Cup's 'sexiest fan' Ivana Knoll rages at German TV company over 'unprofessional' interview - after aiming jibe at presenter's clothing - in build-up to Croatia's Euro 2024 opener

Croatia superfan Ivana Knoll has hit out at a German television show for a lack of professionalism after an interview at Euro 2024.

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Knoll took part in an interview with MagentaTV before Croatia's 3-0 defeat to Spain in their opening game of Euro 2024. After the interview, Knoll aimed a bizarre jibe at presenter Laura Wontorra and her choice of clothing. Knoll also went on to blast the television station and urged them never to ask her for an interview again.

  • WHAT KNOLL SAID

    Knoll posted a message to Wontorra on Instagram that read: "'Dear Laura, if I looked like that, I would only wear winter clothes forever."

    The Croatia fan then followed that up with a post directed at Magenta TV: "The most unprofessional television ever. Teach your presenters the culture and never invite me for an interview again."

    Knoll also contacted a reporter for German newspaper Bild and wrote in a WhatsApp message: "'I don't know who this woman [Wontorra] is. But people have told me that she and another woman said very bad things about me today after my live appearance on MagentaTV."

    Knoll is a former Miss Croatia and swimwear model who has been dubbed 'Croatia's sexiest fan' after causing a stir while supporting the national team in a series of revealing outfits during the 2022 World Cup.

    She was spotted wearing a bikini top in Croatia colours for her interview at Euro 2024 and admitted "it's a bit cold" during the broadcast before going on to predict a final between Croatia and France. The show then returned to the studio where presenter Johannes B. Kerner said: "In theory, there would also be the possibility of putting something on when it's cold."

    The coverage then returned to Wontorra back in the stadium with former players Tabea Kemme and Ciriaco Sforza and the opening line: "We would now simply try to come up with a bit of expertise."
