'Petrol leak' on Alisha Lehmann's holiday plane as Switzerland & Juventus star endures gruelling 15-hour journey after Euro 2025 heartbreak

The 26-year-old is jetting off to soak up some sun after suffering Euro 2025 heartache with Switzerland on home soil. They reached the quarter-finals of that competition, but were unable to find a way past World Cup winners Spain.

With major international tournament duty over, Lehmann has seen her schedule cleared once more. She has spent time in the Middle East attending the Esports World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

The plan was to head out of Riyadh and onto the beach. Lehmann has, however, seen the odd spanner thrown into the works there. She is used to flying around the world, with technical difficulties always a possibility.

She ran into some of those when boarding a flight that ended up being delayed by fuel problems. Lehmann eventually ended up in her desired destination after a gruelling 15-hour journey, with an opportunity to relax and unwind being embraced.

Once she is done topping up her tan, Lehmann will return to Italy for pre-season training at Juventus. She helped them to Serie A title glory during her debut campaign in Turin and will have more silverware in her sights for 2025-26.
