  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    The Bees used different clips of celebrities like Hollywood actor Tom Hanks, Manchester United fan Mark Goldbridge and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to give a glimpse of all of their fixtures to fans. The video came on the social media platform shortly after the Premier League announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    They used Hanks' past video of him speaking about his love for Aston Villa to show their fixture against the Villans while for the Bournemouth clashes, they used Goldbridge's video of him playing FIFA and instructing United players to celebrate in front of The Cherries' fans. A Rishi Sunak clip talking about football and Southampton was used to reveal their matches against the Saints.

    Brentford also poked fun at Nottingham Forest by including a clip of a VAR review, in reference to their disputes with the Premier League over the implementation of technology in their matches last season. Thomas Frank's side will kick off the new season on Sunday, August 18 against Crystal Palace while they play the final game of the campaign on May 25, 2025, against Wolves.
