Luka Doncic is a Slovenian basketball prodigy who rose to stardom with Real Madrid before joining the NBA in 2018. Drafted third overall by Atlanta Hawks, he was immediately traded to Dallas Mavericks.
In six and a half seasons with the Mavericks, Doncic was a five-time All-Star and All-NBA First Team player, leading them to the 2024 NBA Finals. In a shocking move, Doncic was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in early February for Anthony Davis in a three-team deal involving the Utah Jazz.
