'Love it really' - David Beckham pokes fun at wife Victoria as former Spice Girl jokes she is 'still trying to figure out the rules' after failing to celebrate goals from Lionel Messi-inspired Inter Miami

Co-owner Beckham was on hand to witness another masterclass from Argentine icon Messi, with the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner bagging a match-altering brace. Passion spilled out of the Manchester United and England legend on the sidelines.

While Becks was left roaring in delight, his former Spice Girls star partner barely broke into a smile. Beckham posted on social media: "And they say my wife's not into football. How dare they! Beckham’s son, Romeo, went on to say: "Come on mom join in." Poker-faced Victoria, who has been around football for the best part of 30 years, responded in a post of her own by saying: "Still trying to figure out the rules."

Inter Miami, who remain unbeaten through six MLS fixtures this season, are about to take in three games on the road. The first of those sees them travel to Chicago on Sunday, before then facing the Columbus Crew and taking in a first meeting with the Vancouver Whitecaps in Champions Cup competition.
