Loved-up Cristiano Ronaldo pens heart-warming birthday message to partner Georgina Rodriguez as couple pose for gym selfie in aftermath of Al-Nassr star's furious rant to cameras following disallowed goal in Saudi Pro League

Ronaldo was feeling the love on Monday as he sent a touching birthday message to partner Georgina Rodriguez. The couple, who have been together almost a decade, also cuddled up for a selfie in the gym as Georgina celebrated turning 31.

Ronaldo posted a selfie of the couple with the message: "For the mother, partner, friend, my wife....Happy birthday, love. Your light illuminates us and your love is contagious."

Georgina also took to social media to show off some birthday presents and a very special cake.

Ronaldo looked much more relaxed than during Sunday's Al-Nassr clash. The forward scored in the 3-1 win but was left furious by the decision to disallow another "beautiful" goal for offside.

Ronaldo will no doubt enjoy the rest of Georgina's birthday celebrationS before getting back to work with Al-Nassr and preparing for Thursday's Saudi Pro League clash against Al-Raed.
