    The 17-year-old Gunners star was handed his senior debut by Mikel Arteta in injury time against the Cityzens. However, the youngster went into the referee's book even before he could make his maiden appearance in the league. In the 65th minute of the match, referee Michael Oliver reportedly overheard Lewis-Skelly advising David Raya from the sidelines to go down on the ground to waste time. Oliver immediately approached the Arsenal bench and flashed the yellow card towards the midfielder.

    Gunners fans were left amused to see their academy graduate picking up a booking even before his debut as they felt the teenager got 'anointed'.
