Just four months into his North African adventure, the South African coach appears to be heading for an unexpected exit. The former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician, who has become one of the continent's most talked-about coaches, is reportedly on the verge of parting ways with Al Ittihad.

Masandawana legend Hlompho Kekana has called for a sensational reconciliation between the club and the 27-year-old. The Brazilian forward is currently embroiled in a bitter legal dispute with the Tshwane giants following his controversial departure last year.

The 2024/25 PSL Player of the Season and the Golden Boot winner was relegated with Spanish LaLiga 2 side Cultural Leonesa and will not see his short term contract extended, leaving him as a free agent less than a year on from his acrimonious departure from Masandawana.
