Kaizer Chiefs vs Siwelele FC Preview: Kick-off time, TV channel & squad news

Chiefs have some encouraging news in their camp and that is the likes of Etiosa Ighodaro, Lebohang Maboe and Khanyiso Shinga being available to make their debuts.

But at the same time, their injury list is growing as Ethan Chislett and George Matlou have joined Paseka Mako, Given Msimango and Rushwin Dortley, who are working on their fitness.  

Chiefs possible XI: Petersen, Solomons, Cross, Miguel, Kwinika, Mthethwa, Cele, Ngcobo, Lilepo, Mmodi, Mayo

Lehlohonolo Seema has no suspended players in his Siwelele squad and that is what he needs going into a game of this magnitude.

Other good news for the Bloemfontein-based side is that Chiefs loanees Happy Mashiane and Samkelo Zwane are eligible to face their parent club.  

Siwelele possible XI: Goss, Baliti, Khonyane, Makhele, Margeman, Mfolozi, Moralo, Nurkovic, Potsane, Saile, Zwane.

This will be the first ever time for Chiefs and Siwelele to meet and it would be interesting to see who comes out as the victor.

Amakhosi are on a three-match winless streak in all competitions and have failed to score in their last two games. 

They could, however, take comfort in that they have also not conceded in those two games in a show of solid defence.

The Soweto giants will be up against Siwelele, who are 14th on the table and have won just once in their last five matches.
