In what appeared like a weakened Old Lady line-up, Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina gave the visitors the lead in the 21st minute but Daniele De Rossi responded instantly and the sides went into the interval deadlocked.
The strike was Lemina’s maiden effort of the season and his third overall for Juventus.
But two quick goals early in the second half from Stephan El Shaarawy and Radja Nainggolan -- following a Salah assist -- saw Roma take charge of the proceedings.
The assist was the Egypt international’s 14th of the campaign in 39 appearances across all competitions. Salah has also netted 17 goals, 13 of those coming in Serie A.
