KPL Transfers: KCB drop nine ahead of the new season

Newly promoted side KCB has parted ways with nine players as it aims to restructure ahead of the tough Kenyan Premier League season.

Michael Osundwa, Juma Mpongo, Isaac Okoth, Bernard Ouma, Peter Okore, Jacob Osano, Kevin Migele, Anthony Gathu and Dennis Gicheru have been shown the door. The last two have since joined Wazito FC, who have been relegated to the National Super League.

Reports have it that coach Frank Ouna has given out the list of players he will be working with, and those he wants to sign for the bankers. The team has already completed the signings of Baraka Badi, Michael Kibwage and are almost sealing the deal for former AFC Leopards and Sofapaka player Bernard Mang'oli.

Goal understands that Ouna has a task of helping the team to a top five finish this season as he builds for the 2019/20 season where the team will be pushing for a top three finish.
