Mbappe was on fire as Madrid fired three past City to knock Pep Guardiola's side out of the Champions League. Team-mate Bellingham heaped praise on the No. 9 post-match, telling TNT Sports that "he is flying and it's so good to see."

It is incredible what he has done in his career. I know he had a slow start here and took time getting used to life here. Now he is flying and it's so good to see."

After securing their last 16 spot, Madrid will face either their inter-city rivals Atletico Madrid or Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in the next round. It's a really tricky draw, and Ancelotti's team will be without Bellingham after the England international picked up his third yellow card of the competition against City.
