    Palmer has been recognized for his exceptional performances at Chelsea with a significant rating upgrade in the upcoming EA Sports FC 25, the latest edition of the popular football video game. After receiving a lowly overall rating of 66 out of 99 in EA FC 24 - a puzzling downgrade from his previous rating of 67 in FIFA 23 - the former Manchester City starlet is set for a major boost.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    Throughout his debut season with Chelsea, Palmer lit up Stamford Bridge, netting an impressive 25 goals and providing 15 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions. As a result, Palmer’s new overall rating is 85 out of 99 - a staggering 19-point increase from his previous rating in EA FC 24. To put it into perspective, only a handful of players have ever received larger boosts. These include Doka Madureira in FIFA 16 (+27), Eden Hazard in FIFA 10 (+26), and Paul Pogba in FIFA 13 (+22).

    Shooting: 82/99 (+16)

    Passing: 83/99 (+21)

    Dribbling: 86/99 (+16)

    Defending: 50/99 (+4)

    Physical: 66/99 (+9)

    Palmer’s most notable improvements are in his passing and dribbling, where he has seen a massive increase of 21 and 16 points, respectively. His shooting ability has also been substantially upgraded, rising by 16 points, making him a much more dangerous attacking threat in the game.

    Chelsea Women's star Lauren James has also received a better rating in EA FC 25 than in the previous edition of the game. Her new overall stands at 86, which is a three-point increase from EA FC 24.
