Another rejection for Tottenham?! Ex-Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori keen to stay at AC Milan despite Spurs transfer approach

Spurs were poised to seal a deal for the Mathys Tel after agreeing a £50 million ($62m/€60m) transfer with Bayern Munich this week. However, the Frenchman snubbed their advances. After missing out on Tel, the club were reportedly eyeing a move for English defender and AC Milan star Fikayo Tomori, according to Fabrizio Romano, but Luca Bendoni reports that the player wants to stay back in Italy and remains focused on the Milan derby on Sunday.

The Lilywhites desperately require quality signings in the January transfer after a poor first half in the Premier League 2024/25 campaign. While the club have reached the semi-final of the Carabao Cup and are alive in the FA Cup, in the league, they are currently placed 15th and are eight points above the relegation zone.

The Daily Mail has reported that Spurs are also in touch with Manchester United as they look to sign their £60m-rated ($74.4m/€71.8m) want-away star Alejandro Garnacho.
