  • Tel adamant to leave Bayern in the winter window
  • However, talks have broken down with Tottenham
  • Other Premier League clubs continue to fight for his signature

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Spurs had been confident that the promise of regular first-team football would help them secure Tel’s services, particularly after missing out on Randal Kolo Muani earlier in the transfer window. However, despite the assurance and financial appeal of the deal, the 18-year-old opted to reject Tottenham’s advances, according to Fabrizio Romano. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy flew to Munich to convince the youngster to join the north London side but his attempt has fallen flat on its face.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Moreover, Sky Germany has reported that Tel wants to keep his options open and is more inclined to consider a loan move rather than a permanent transfer at this stage with the Red Devils, Chelsea, and Aston Villa still closely monitoring his situation. Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli, managed by German coach Matthias Jaissle, have also expressed interest, though it remains unclear whether Tel would be open to a move outside of Europe.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Manchester United have made initial inquiries about Tel, but any formal approach could hinge on potential departures at Old Trafford. The futures of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho remain uncertain, and their exits could create room for reinforcements in United’s attacking department.

    WHAT NEXT FOR TEL?

While Tel’s next destination is still undetermined, a move away from Bayern Munich before the transfer deadline remains a strong possibility. The Bavarian club is open to negotiations, but whether he secures a move within the Premier League or elsewhere remains to be seen.
