  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Carroll was allegedly involved in an unsavoury '1am street brawl' following a night out in London's Mayfair with his wife, Billi Mucklow.

The former England international reportedly 'scrapped' with a man who fled the scene. In footage shared by The Sun, Carroll is seen being restrained by security and passers-by as he gesticulates wildly, seemingly still irate with the person he traded blows with.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

It's not a great look for Carroll, who is currently plying his trade with French Ligue 2 side Amiens. As per The Sun, according to a witness, the 'boozed up' former Newcastle United and Liverpool forward had a row with the man as he and his wife were preparing to leave Sexy Fish, an Asian restaurant in Mayfair, and later shouted, "you f*cking want some?" at onlookers.

  • WHAT A WITNESS SAID

"It spilled on to the street and to everyone's amazement he was rolling on the road with this guy," the witness said, according to The Sun. "It all happened very quickly. Billi was not impressed. The guy disappeared as security ran over to intervene.

"Andy had his smart white shirt ripped. People tried to calm him down but he had unfinished business and could be heard shouting, 'where is he?'"

  • WHAT NEXT FOR CARROLL?

Carroll signed for French club Amiens last September following two seasons with Reading. The former England striker, who famously flopped at Liverpool after the Reds paid a then-club record £35 million ($44m) to sign him from Newcastle in 2011, scored four goals in 28 appearances in his debut Ligue 2 campaign.
