    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Saudi Arabia and the United States have been touted as possible destinations for the 33-year-old, but he has indicated that he could stay in the Premier League, with a return to Chelsea endorsed by one former star. However, ex-United captain Keane believes a switch to Old Trafford would not be a bad idea, insisting the playmaker still has the quality to deliver.

  • WHAT KEANE SAID

"United? He wouldn't have to move house," Keane said on Sky Sports. "We know how ruthless Man City can be at a certain age. Give him time one the ball and he will punish you, all he needs is a moment. As much as you try and stop him, you can't in certain areas."
