Dani Dyer reveals fiancé Jarrod Bowen's surprising post-football career plans as her father Danny rules out punditry route for West Ham and England winger

England international Bowen, who is captain of the Hammers, has plenty of campaigns left in him at 28 years of age. He intends to maximise the potential in his chosen profession before any thought is given to a hanging up of boots.

Once the day does come to retire, then Bowen will have several options to consider. Many former players look to move into punditry, if coaching and management holds no appeal, but Danny Dyer has stated that he cannot see his son-in-law-to-be heading down that path.

Dani Dyer agrees with her father, telling the ‘Live and Let Dyers’ podcast of Bowen’s post-career plans: “He wants to be a streamer. He wants to be a gamer. He wants to play games and sit in a den all day and streaming sh*t. He loves all streamers. And he wants to own his own coffee shop.”

Dyer has spoken in the past of wanting to have Bowen around more, as he manages a hectic professional schedule, but his time may be filled with other endeavours once bidding farewell to football. For now, he is focused on ending the 2024-25 season as positively as possible and tying the knot in a lavish wedding ceremony this summer.
