Crystal Palace have completed the £21m signing of versatile Israeli international Anan Khalaili on a contract running until 2031. The 21-year-old winger arrives from Belgian outfit Union Saint-Gilloise to bolster Pierre Sage's squad ahead of their Europa League campaign, having previously helped his former side win a historic league and cup double.

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise forward Mohammed Fuseini was violently dragged from his car and robbed of his Rolex watch and mobile phone by five attackers outside a Brussels nightclub on Sunday morning. A team-mate captured the brutal assault on camera, aiding police in making an arrest as the judicial investigation continues.

Harry Kane enjoyed being reunited with former Tottenham team-mate Toby Alderweireld following his latest Champions League outing for Bayern Munich, despite being reminded that he was once billed as a “one-season wonder” in English football. Kane has proved to be much more than that, with remarkable standards being maintained in domestic and continental competition.

Harry Kane helped Bayern Munich automatically qualify for the last-16 of the Champions League by scoring both goals in the German giants' 2-0 win over Union Saint-Gilloise. The England captain missed a chance at a hat-trick, however, as his 81st minute penalty cannoned off the crossbar. Bayern overcame the 63rd minute sending off of Kim Min-Jae, as well as the absence of their banned ultras, to secure the victory.
