Mohamed Salah delivered a magical individual performance, scoring a hat-trick and assisting another as Trabzonspor thrashed Super Lig leaders Galatasaray 4-0. Former Liverpool team-mate Fabinho led the tributes, hailing the Egyptian as a world-class big-game performer.
Mohamed Salah delivered an outstanding performance on Saturday, scoring his first hat-trick and providing an assist to lead Trabzonspor to a resounding 4-0 victory over Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig. The Egypt captain has made an incredible start to his career in Turkey, breaking long-standing records and proving he remains one of the most dangerous attackers in world football.
The vacant head coach position at Trabzonspor is apparently being taken over by former Bundesliga coach Thomas Reis. He is very well known in Turkey, but is currently under contract elsewhere.
The football world was rocked by reports suggesting Pep Guardiola could make a sensational return to the dugout to manage former rival Mohamed Salah in Turkey. Following the former Liverpool forward's move to Trabzonspor, speculation intensified that the Man City legend was the club's primary target to lead their new era of dominance.
