What's the latest broadcast updated by Chiefs?

"Saturday’s CAF Confederation Cup clash between AS Simba and Kaizer Chiefs in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo, will unfortunately not be broadcast live on TV," Chiefs announced in a statement."The hosts were unable to secure broadcast rights with local broadcasters, which affects the availability of the feed.
"As the visiting team, Chiefs rely on the host broadcaster’s feed to relay the match to our partners in South Africa, as was done in the previous round in Angola. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience, but this matter is beyond our control," added the club.
"We will, however, endeavour to keep our supporters updated throughout the match via our official digital platforms - Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram."

    Wounded Kaizer Chiefs

Chiefs arrive at TP Mazembe Stadium wounded from the Carling Knockout exit at the hands of Stellenbosch.

That was their last match, but they hope the FIFA break allowed them to fine-tune their tactics to tackle Simba.

They will be fighting to give themselves a comfortable result that would make life easy for them when they host their Congolese opponents next week.

    What comes next?

It is to be seen if coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef will unleash some of the new signings against AS Simba.

Khanyisa Mayo has already featured in the Premier Soccer League and Carling Knockout but has yet to play in the Confederation Cup.

Lebohang Maboe is also part of the squad that travelled to DR Congo and could make his competitive Chiefs debut.
