Manchester United's attempts to permanently offload Andre Onana have hit a significant stumbling block after Trabzonspor officially ruled out meeting the Red Devils' asking price. The Cameroon international, who moved to Old Trafford from Inter in July 2023 in a deal worth around £47 million ($62m), finds himself in limbo ahead of the summer transfer window.

Andre Onana has been backed to fight for his Manchester United place once his loan spell with Trabzonspor comes to a close in the summer. The Cameroon international moved to the Turkish Super Lig side for the season last September following the arrival of Senne Lammens from Belgian side Antwerp. The 23-year-old has since established himself as first choice at Old Trafford.
