VIDEO: Did it cross the line? Technology secures huge win for Feyenoord over PSV

Goal-line technology was introduced in an effort to eradicate controversial decisions, but PSV had a bone to pick with the system during their crunch clash with Feyenoord.

A top-of-the-table Eredivisie encounter was locked at 1-1 on Sunday heading into the closing stages.

Feyenoord, though, were pushing hard for a dramatic winner and swung over a late corner.

A scramble in the box resulted in Jan-Arie van der Heijden nodding the ball goalwards.

Jeroen Zoet thought he had done enough to keep the effort out and the scores level, but the match officials awarded a goal.

The PSV players were incensed at the call, with it impossible to tell if the ball had crossed the line in real time.

Replays confirmed their fate, though, with the tightest of decisions going against them.
