Tottenham vs. Fulham Predictions: EPL Matchweek 6 Odds & Best Bets

After being held to a draw by West Ham in midweek, Tottenham must now deal with a second London derby in the space of three days. Although manager Antonio Conte’s Spurs are still unbeaten this season, they may feel that two points were dropped in a winnable match.

Spurs will look to avoid a repeat performance when Fulham makes the short trip across the capital. However, the Cottagers' start has been impressive, losing just one of their first five league outings.

Alexsandar Mitrović has been stellar in these first few weeks of the campaign, with the Serbian forward scoring five goals in as many matches. This total surpassed his Premier League tally for Fulham two seasons ago.

Then again, it would be unfair just to heap praise on the shoulders of Mitrović, and with manager Marco Silva not being afraid to throw caution to the wind in terms of tactical setup. Nevertheless, Fulham is proving more than capable of competing against any club.

Dan Tracey’s 2022-2023 EPL Betting Record: 0-2 (-2 units)

Tottenham vs Fulham Odds

Tottenham vs. Fulham odds are current as of Sept. 1 on PointsBet Sportsbook.

3-way handicap: Tottenham -226 | Draw +350 | Fulham +575

Draw No Bet: Tottenham -700 | Fulham +410

Over/Under Goals: Over 2.5 (-160) | Under 2.5 (+120)

Both Teams To Score: Yes (-125) | No (-105)

Current betting lines have sportsbooks leaning heavily towards a Tottenham win on Saturday. However, the Draw No Bet market only makes sense from a speculative Fulham point of view.

In addition, betting the Over in 2.5 total goals looks appealing when you consider the players capable of breaching their opposition’s net.

Tottenham vs Fulham Betting Tips

Tottenham are unbeaten at home

Although Tottenham was held at the London Stadium on Wednesday, they have continued to make their home something of a fortress.

After putting Southampton to the sword in the opening weekend, the Spurs edged past Wolverhampton in week three. Conte will not be putting on any hospitality for Fulham.

Expect Mitrović to remain red-hot

After setting the EFL Championship on fire last season, Mitrović has picked up where he left off. The 27-year-old has a fire inside of him, leaving us with a leaner and meaner version of the Serbian hitman.

With Fulham’s midfield prepared to advance further up the pitch, their talisman now has a constant supply line to feed off of for goals. With the way Mitrović has been playing in August, you should expect more of the same this weekend.

Will Son find the net? Or will Richarlison shine instead?

Hueng min-Son shared the Premier League Golden Boot award last season but has been nowhere to be seen in terms of goals this season.

After starting every game thus far, Son is off the pace. However, with Richarlison itching to be given his first start in a Tottenham shirt, Saturday might finally offer this opportunity to the former Everton forward.

Tottenham vs Fulham Prediction

Tottenham 2-1 Fulham

With the Both Teams To Score odds being as skinny as they are, this certainly leans into my prediction for Saturday. And although Tottenham will not run away with this match against Fulham, I am confident that they will return to winning ways in the end.

Spurs have already given up four points to London neighbors Arsenal. With these two sides likely to be fighting out for a Champions League invite at the end of the season, Spurs know they cannot cede any further advantage to the Gunners this early.

Tottenham vs Fulham Best Bets

➕ Alexsandar Mitrović Anytime Goal Scorer (+170) at BetMGM Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 unit

If both teams score on Saturday, then Fulham’s entry on the scoresheet will likely come from one source, Mitrović.

The Serbian has scored everywhere he has gone, and when you consider the odds for another goal this weekend, this is a worthwhile entry on any betting slip.

➕ Tottenham to Win & Both Teams To Score (+200) at PointsBet Sportsbook

WAGER: 1 unit

If Mitrović is to make Tottenham sweat on Saturday, the hosts will have to dig deep to earn maximum points. But, then again, this Spurs outfit is more than capable of achieving such an outcome.

If anything, their poor second-half display against West Ham should be a wake-up call regarding the weekend’s preparations. Therefore, I am backing Tottenham to win but both teams to find the net in North London.
