The former Chelsea star was not spared the traditional hazing ceremony in front of his new team-mates, but he carried it off well

John Terry may be one of the most decorated players in English football, but that still didn't grant him immunity from an initiation at his new club Aston Villa.

The 36-year-old joined Villa from Chelsea after bringing the curtain down on a 22-year spell at Stamford Bridge and, as is tradition at many clubs, he was expected to sing a song in front of his new team-mates.

And the former England captain did not seem a bit shy as he belted out Ben E. King's hit 'Stand By Me' at dinner with the Villa squad.

In a video shared on Twitter by Villa youngster Andre Green, Terry is joined by what looks to be a guitar-playing chef, and he totally relishes the moment.
